Core Aeration

 Core aeration is a process that uses hollow tines to remove small plugs or cores of soil and thatch from your lawn. These plugs are typically 2-3 inches deep and about ½ inch in diameter, spaced 2-6 inches apart across your entire lawn. Over time soil becomes compacted from foot traffic, mowing, and natural settling. Compacted soil prevents air, water light, and nutrients from reaching the roots of your lawn, resulting in thin, weak turf that is vulnerable to weeds, disease, and drought stress.
